Place a student on hold

Once your school has created hold codes via Holds settings, an administrator with the role of Academic Holds Manager or Billing Holds Manager can place a student on hold.

There are multiple ways to place a student on hold:

  • Via the student's academic profile

  • Via the Academics hold list

  • Via the Academics dashboard

  • Via the student's Core profile

  • Via the student's Enrollment management profile

  • Via the Billing management Holds list

Only users whose role includes the task Add/Edit/Delete holds will be able to place and manage holds. Depending on your school's settings, you may also want to enable view-only access to a Holds list. For more information, see the help topic Manage holds.
