Delete a gift

You can delete a gift after you create it. From the Journal screen on a constituent record, click the gift you want to delete to open it. On the gift record, click Delete.

Warning: eTapestry does not keep a record of deleted gifts. If you export gifts for use in an accounting software such as QuickBooks, or if you want to keep an audit trail of all transactions entered in the database, we recommend that you reverse the transaction instead of deleting it.
