Query Criteria
To enter criteria for your query, select fields under Available Fields. You can browse fields by category or search for a specific field. Selected fields appear under Criteria. For each selected field, enter parameters to tell the query how to search that field. For example, you may only want to include certain amounts for an amount field.
Common criteria:

Text Fields - These include State, Postal Code, Name, Company, and more. for each text field, enter the search parameters. To search for multiple parameters, separate the text with + signs. For a variable range, locates entries that the range includes at the time the query is run.

Date Fields - You can search for a specific month/day/year date range, a month/day date range, or a variable date range.
For a Custom Range, enter a Start Date and End Date for a closed range or just one date for a open-ended date range. To search for a single date, enter the date as both the Start Date and End Date.

Currency Fields - You can search for amounts equal to, greater than, greater than or equal to, less than, or less than or equal to a certain amount. You can also use theOptional Comparison field to search within a range of amounts, such as greater than or equal to $1 and less than or equal to $100.
For cumulative amounts, the query searches for data in the starting criteria, sums the amounts, and then determines which records meet the cumulative criteria.

Number Fields - You can search for amounts equal to, greater than, greater than or equal to, less than, or less than or equal to a certain number. You can also use theOptional Comparison field to search within a range of numbers, such as greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to 100.

Single- or Multi-select Fields - Single-select fields appears a dropdown menus during data entry. Multi-select fields appear as check boxes during data entry. To quickly select or clear the values for these fields, click Select All or Clear All. For multi-select fields, select whether the query should search for results that match any of your criteria or all of your criteria.

Query on Disabled Values - To query on a value that has been disabled, click Show Disabled. The disabled values appear in italics. To remove them, click Hide Disabled.

Field Has Any Value/Field Has No Value - Use these options for any field to locate entries based on whether the field is empty or has values. For example, create a query of accounts that have no value for email addresses, so you and send those constituents an alternative communication. Some fields, such as Name, Account Number, and Journal Entry Date are required to have values.
