Refresh from Pool

When you edit an allocation, changes to criteria or source data can affect the accuracy of the associated pool values. To ensure the allocation uses the most current pool information, refresh the allocation from the pool. Refreshing provides the following benefits:

• Ensures allocation results reflect the latest pool balances and basis values.

• Improves accuracy by recalculating from current source data.

• Keeps multiple allocations consistent when they share the same pool.

• Saves time by avoiding manual updates or re-entry.

• Supports auditability by tying results directly to pool logic.

• Helps validate pool changes before running or posting allocations.

1. From Allocations, under Allocations, select Edit from an allocation's menu.

2. Select Refresh from pool.

   Tip: Refresh is available for all allocation types.

3. Choose which pool details to overwrite on the allocation.

   All pool details are selected by default.

4. Select Save.
