Run Allocations

After you review the pre-allocation report (from the allocation record) and make any necessary updates, you're ready to run the allocation and create journal entries.

Tip: If you need to update statistical units associated with allocations, we recommend you update before running (not during). Otherwise, unexpected results may occur.

  1. From the action bar of a completed allocation record, select Run.

  2. Notifications display at the bottom of the page to indicate completion or areas that need your attention.

  3. After the run completes:

    • Journal entries are created and added to a batch (which manually or automatically post, depending on the allocation's configuration).

    • An allocation report is attached to the batch.

    To view the batch, select General ledger, Journal entries.
