Mask Accounts for Pool Defaults
When you enter account numbers for default accounts, mask them to quickly select account ranges without entering numbers. With masking, asterisks are used in place of numbers in a segment or segments of a general ledger account.
Use asterisks as wildcard characters to represent any digit from zero to nine. For example, you select "Fund" as the basis and want to indicate multiple accounts. To do this, enter the fund segment as masked. If your pool basis is "Account", every section can be masked except the account code. When the pool basis is "Segment", masking is only allowed for the segment and the destination can't take the full account.
Tip: Account masking is only available when details are defined once for all line items.
