Payables Analysis Filters
When you analyze the performance of your organization's financial efforts in Analysis, Dashboards, the metrics under Payables include all unpaid invoices by default. To include only those that meet specific criteria, such as a post status or related vendors, use the filters.
Tip: These filters are cumulative, so imagine an "and" between each. For example, if you specify both an invoice date range and a payment status, you can analyze invoices that meet both criteria.

To analyze invoices during a specific time frame, select the date range of the invoices to include in the Invoice date filter and select Apply.

To analyze invoices based on a specific post status, such as Not yet posted, select one or more statuses in the Post status filter and select Apply.

The payment status is the state of the invoice, such as Approved or Pending. To analyze invoices based on a specific status, select one or more statuses in the Payment status filter and select Apply.

To analyze invoices associated with specific vendors, select one or more vendors in the Vendor filter and select Apply.

To analyze invoices associated with specific funds, such as Grant or Endowments, select one or more funds in the Fund filter and select Apply.

To analyze invoices associated with specific projects, choose them in the Project description filter and select Apply.
Tip: To find a specific project, search the Project description filter for its description.

To analyze invoices associated with specific payment methods, such as Check or Credit Card, choose them in the Invoice payment method filter and select Apply.
Tip: To reuse frequent filter selections, save their view to easily apply them in the future. For more information, see Dashboards .
