Transaction Codes Summary
Under Transaction Code, Summary from Analysis, Dashboards, you can — at a glance — review metrics for a transaction code, such as starting and ending balance, based on the filters you select. This section presents a calculation flow so you can easily follow how the metrics are figured.
Starting balance
Starting balance displays the beginning balance based on the Post date filter.
Net change
Net change displays the total revenue minus expenses, plus gifts and transfers associated with the transaction code.
Ending balance
Ending balance displays the ending balance — after net change has been calculated — based on the Post date filter.
