Grants
Use grants to track money that government agencies or private institutions give your organization for specific purposes. Specify which projects are funded by the grant and assign a single transaction code to track how the grant is used. You can then run detailed reports and ensure that you're meeting grant restrictions.
The Grants list in General ledger is the central location for all your grant tasks. From this page, access existing grants or add new ones.
Review and sort the list and determine how you want the info to display. Select Columns, choose details to include, and select Apply changes. If necessary, drag and drop the headers to reorder each column.
To quickly locate the grant you want, search the list. Select Filter to minimize the list or Export to copy the list to an Excel .XLSX file.
Tip: If you don't know the exact ID or description, search using a partial name or number.
To open a grant record, use its menu or select the grant's description. You can also edit from the menu or directly from the record.
Tip: When needed, you can specify a new label to replace all current references to "Grant". For example, your organization might use Fund, Campaign, or Foundation instead. To rename, select General ledger, Settings, Business rules, Grants.
