Link Credit Card Account

Once you connect financial institutions to Financial Edge NXT, your next steps depend on whether or not you already have existing Financial Edge NXT credit card accounts, and how many financial institutions you connected. If you connected multiple financial institutions, or have existing Financial Edge NXT credit card accounts, you must link the accounts.

You can link credit card accounts from the Credit card accounts page in Treasury, Credit card accounts. If you have any credit card accounts that need to be linked, an alert displays at the top of the page.

  1. From the alert message on the Credit card accounts page in Treasury, select Link credit cards. From the Summary screen, select the financial institution for which you want to link online credit card feeds with existing credit card accounts in the database view.

  2. Select the account that displays all the transactions from its subsidiary cards. This ensures duplicate transactions do not display on the Credit card activity page. If you do not see the master account, or do not have one, select "Not listed or Don't have one."

  3. Under Link, select the Financial Edge NXT credit card account you want to link to the feed.

    Note: If you do not see the account you want to link, you can create a new account by selecting Actually, I need to create a new account. Once you've created the account, you can return here to continue linking directly from the Add form. For more information about adding a new account, see Manage Credit Card Feeds.

  4. In the Include transactions beginning field, enter the start date from which you want to begin downloading transactions for the account.

    Note: The date you enter must be within the last 90 days.

  5. Under Online feed, select the online credit card credit you want to link to the corresponding subsidiary card under Financial Edge NXT. You can search for existing cards using the last four digits of the card. Once you've located the account, the ? icon changes to a .

    Note: You can easily add a new subsidiary credit card from this screen when you select Add credit card. This is helpful when you receive a new credit card for an account already linked to the online feed. Once you add the card, select it under Online feed.

  6. Select Link to complete the process. Once complete, you can automatically refresh and download transactions from your online credit card accounts to Financial Edge NXT.
