Move Asset Location

An asset's physical location is tracked and managed from the Location tile of the asset record. If you need to change an asset's location, select Move location.

1. Under Location on the asset record, select Move location. The asset's current location displays at the top of the screen.

2. Enter the new location for the asset. Search if necessary.

   Tip: You manage your available locations on the Fields and tables page under Control panel.

3. Enter the Move on date and reason for the move.

4. Select Save.
