Pricing Schedules
You add product pricing schedules on product records to define the unit price for each product. You can also define multiple pricing schedules with different unit prices to change the price of products on specific dates.
Pricing schedules are helpful if you offer items that have seasonal price changes and other scheduled changes. For example, if you have a price increase that starts January 1, you can create a pricing schedule that automatically increases the price for that product on the specified effective date.

-
In the Effective date field, select the date the price is effective. You can enter future dates to schedule upcoming price changes.
-
Enter a description for the pricing schedule.
-
Under Pricing basis, you can select “Use a single unit price for all quantities” or “Base unit price on quantity.”
If you select “Use a single unit price for all quantities”, enter the new unit price. If you select “Base unit price on quantity”, enter the maximum number eligible for the first price range. The minimum number defaults to 0. In the Unit Price column, enter the per unit price for those quantities. Repeat for additional quantity ranges.
