Home Page Tiles

Home tiles represent snapshots of key data about your organization. At a glance, you view stats or drill in further for a closer look. Add standard tiles that are native to Financial Edge NXT or customize further with SKY Add-in tiles.

To get started from Home , select Favorite queries, Favorite reports, or develop a SKY add-in tile.

Tip: Access to tile options depends on your permissions. If you're missing one, contact your admin. For more details, see Home Page Permissions.

Standard Tiles

To help you quickly access and run your favorite queries, use the Favorite queries tile. Select up to five query categories to display your favorites on the Home page.

Note: Only queries added to your favorites are available for display on the Home page. To manage your favorite queries from Analysis, Query, select Add to favorites (or Remove from favorites) from the query’s menu.

To help you quickly access and generate your favorite reports, use the Favorite reports tile. Select up to five report tags to display your favorites on the Home page.

Note: Only reports associated with a tag and added to your favorites are available for display on the Home page. To manage your favorite reports from Analysis, Reports, select Associate tags and Add to favorites (or Remove from favorites) from the report’s menu. For more details, see Manage Report Tags.

To help you access your most frequently used bank accounts, view the Bank accounts tile. Select up to five accounts to display so you can quickly review important details such as the balance and the date of the last reconciliation. For more details about bank accounts, see Bank Accounts.

To help you access your most frequently used credit accounts, view the Credit card accounts tile. Select up to five accounts to display so you can quickly review important details such as the number of active cards and the balance. For more details about bank accounts, see Credit Card Accounts.

Closing assistant displays up to 99 unposted transactions per subledger, helping you stay on top of outstanding items in General ledger. To maintain accurate and timely financial records, regularly review and post these transactions for each subledger so you can close fiscal periods that no longer need to remain open. SKY Add-in Tiles

SKY Add-ins are built as independent functionality that integrates into the user interface of Blackbaud solutions. They are implemented as web applications that run external to Financial Edge NXT, but they are rendered to look like native Blackbaud functionality. Blackbaud, Blackbaud partners, and 3rd party developers, such as a developer at your organization, can build add-ins that enable you to extend the functionality of Financial Edge NXT. Thus, they provide your organization the ability to customize the solution to your needs.
