Query in Web View

As Financial Edge NXT shifts to a total web solution, we're adding the following query features from database view to web view over the next several months. To track details and timelines, bookmark this page and What's New.

You can now view the criteria, sort, and output fields applied to your query from the query editor. For more information, see View a query’s applied fields.

To reduce the amount of time you search for fields in the query editor, you can now select the fields you use most often and include them in a list of favorite fields. Each query type supports its own list of favorite fields.

You can now filter the list of queries to quickly find your recently accessed and favorites. From the list of queries, select Favorites only or Recent queries only to further refine the list.

Tip: To manage your favorite queries, select Add to Favorites or Remove from Favorites from the query’s menu.

As we move query to web view, we will introduce support for more query features and fields over the upcoming months, including:

  • Include queries in web view features

  • Merge results from two queries

  • Access more fields on new queries, including:

    • Summary fields

    • Ask fields

    • Address processing fields

  • Search for available fields

  • Select more fields, filters, and sort options in the list of queries

The following query features will not be moved to web view:

  • Query control report

  • Giving score queries

  • Visual Basic Application (VBA) fields
