Custom Application Questions
You can add up to twenty custom questions to include in application forms. Answers to these questions are available in the detail page and reportable in the Family Report and the Excel-version of the Summary Report. You can create Enterprise level and School level custom questions. Make sure you select to correct tab before adding new questions.
You can also add a link to your school's privacy policy as a custom question. For more information on data privacy and compliance, see Blackbaud's Privacy Resource Center.
To get started:

Under Settings, choose Create Custom Application Questions.

Current questions will be listed.

Set Do you wish to display the custom questions to your families? to Yes.

To add custom application questions:
Tip: Select School Custom Questions to add School level questions. Select Enterprise Custom Questions to add Enterprise level questions.

Select +Add new Custom Question.

Choose the type of question:

Single input: Families write short responses in a small text field

Dropdown: Families choose one option from a dropdown list

Free response: Families write responses in a large text field

Multiple Choice: Families can select multiple options

Enter the question under Question Title.

For Dropdown or Multi Choice questions, select the + icon to enter possible Answers.
Note: You may enter an unlimited number of answers.

Select the save icon when finished.

You can easily edit custom questions and answers.
Note: Question types cannot be edited- the question would need to be deleted and re-added.
To edit questions and/or answers:

Select the edit icon next to the appropriate question.

Edit the necessary fields.

Select the save icon when finished.

Delete an answer by selecting the delete icon next to the answer.
Warning: Once deleted, answers cannot be restored and must be re-entered manually.

To delete a question entirely:

Select the delete icon next to the question.

The question will delete automatically.
