Blackbaud Checkout
Blackbaud Checkout provides parents with a secure payment option when submitting their application. Parents can pay their application fee via credit card or through an ACH (Automated Clearing House) process. Blackbaud Checkout provides a simplified payment experience for parents while keeping transactions secure. Basic information like name and address will be pre-filled on the payment page with information provided in the application. Once the information is submitted by a parent, the payment information is kept securely on the Blackbaud Secure Payments servers.

Payment Details are available for schools by navigating to an applicant’s Family Detail Page, which is accessed by selecting their name on Manage Families. Scroll down on this page to find the Application Payment Details table. This area will include information regarding the application fee payment and log any emails that were sent out for a failed ACH transaction

ACH payments can take upwards of 13 days to process. When a parent submits an ACH payment, they will see a notification on the Submit page letting them know it will take up to two weeks for their ACH payment to process. If their payment fails, they will receive an email notification letting them know why the payment failed and providing them with a link to the submit page so they can submit a new payment. They will continue to receive a notification to their email every Wednesday until they submit a new payment.
