School Reports

Use the Filters to limit which information from the database is included in your report. You can select multiple values for each filter.

Grade: This filters by student grade level.

Status: This refers to application statuses.

Student code: These are school generated codes that can be tied to individual students.

Family code: These are school generated codes that can be tied to families.

Internal code: These are school generated codes that are for internal use only.

Select Generate Report and then select the type(s) of report(s) you want to run. You can also select to run All Reports.
Tip: When you generate a new report or select to download/view an existing one, you may need to wait a few moments before the report appears. If you've waited already and do not see the report yet, select Refresh to update the report status and see if it is ready.

Find the report(s) in the grid. On the report row, select a format to download and view the report. A report may be available as an Adobe PDF file, Microsoft Excel file, or both.
Report types

The Summary report provides a summary of family data from their verified documents which can be used to determine who to grant aid to and how much aid should be awarded. This report can be sorted by Student name or Need depending on what you select when generating the report. The report calculates the total number of students applying for aid with their Calculated need and Grants awarded. The Summary reports do not include students added via Import Students.

The Missing documents report can be used to reach out the families with missing documents. This report indicates which documents the family is missing along with their contact information.

For each family, Blackbaud Financial Aid Management generates a comprehensive report which can help the school review the family's information at a glance. The Family report does not include students added via Import Students. The report is collated by household. For each household in the report, the report shows detailed information about

Household statistics - number of parents, total dependents, dependents in private school, dependents attending your school, household contribution to education (HCE), allowed education expense, pro-rated HCE, calculated student need, total amount of grants awarded

Application status - review status, number of reviewed items, on-time status, date application received

Household Key Ratios - average current ratio, average debt service ratio, average debt to asset ratio, a legend for abbreviations used in the report

This report gives you a break down of different assets, income, contributions, need, grant awards, prorated amounts, etc. for each family and compares the previous year's totals to the current year's total. This will help admins to see any changes in family situations from one year to the next.

This report can be used to assist you in importing Financial Aid information from Blackbaud Financial Aid Management into the Blackbaud Enrollment Management System. This report contains many of the columns you will need to perform this import.
