Step 1: Log in for the first time
The first time you log in to Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY view, you'll need a Blackbaud ID (BBID).
Your organization's Administrator should invite any staff member at your organization to create a BBID if they need access to Blackbaud resources such as Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY view.
Because some users in SKY view will need to be linked to Classic view users, user requests will still need to be submitted to Activate/Deactivate users in Classic view.
Note: To find out who has access to Classic view today, Organization Admins may request a user report from Blackbaud Support.
You can access Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY view here.

If you don't already have one, create a BBID by selecting Accept Invitation in the Blackbaud Grantmaking welcome email. If you don't receive an invitation, you can create a BBID here.
You'll receive an email to verify your email address. Select Confirm email to verify it. Navigate back to Blackbaud Grantmaking, and select Use this ID to log in with your BBID.
Review your BBID profile and make any desired changes, then select the menu , Grantmaking.

Note: Due to the gradual release of the Security groups feature where admins can link your account for you upon inviting you to the SKY view environment, you may not experience this scenario at all.
When you log in to Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY view for the first time , you may need to link your Grantmaking Classic view account.
When prompted to link your Grantmaking Classic view account, enter your Grantmaking Classic View User ID and password, then select Link accounts.

As an admin, when you add a user in Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY view, you can either link their email to an existing user in the database view (Classic view), or you can create a new user altogether.
From Control panel, Security, select Add user. Enter a Name and Email, then give the user Grantmaking permissions in the left tile. You can also make them a solution admin.
In the Security groups tile, either link this user to an existing Classic view user or create a new user altogether.
Note: Users can only be linked to one Classic view account. If you select Link to existing user, users who are already linked to a Classic view account won't appear in the search.
If you create a new user, you must assign the user to both a Role and a Group.
-
A Role gives a user permissions to edit and perform specific actions.
-
A Group is a set of users with assigned access to specific records.
Note: Currently, you can only assign/unassign Roles and Groups to a user in Sky view. To make changes to the Roles or to create or edit Groups, contact Blackbaud Support.
Select which roles and groups you want to assign the user to, then select Select.
