Edit Standard Product Fields
Only minimal edits can be made to standard product fields since they are created by the system. The availability of these options will differ based on the field type.
Note: The name, field type, description, and audience defined for each product field cannot be changed. If you create a copy of the product field, you can update these details to some extent. However, it should be kept in mind that copies are not automatically integrated into other standard product templates like those for dashboards and Ad Hoc reporting.
Warning: Any edits made to these fields will be persisted to all users in your organization.
Change Key
The key attributed to a product field can be updated, if needed. This is not available for all field types. Additionally, fields with encryption and masking enabled cannot be changed.

Navigate to the Program Setup > Custom Forms > Form Fields tab.

Select the ellipses icon next to the field and then Edit.

In the Edit Form Field screen, select the Generate unique key button located under the Key field.
Tip: The new key will be the original key with gcStandardField_ removed. For example, a field with an original key of gcStandardField_actualResult will change to actualResult when a new unique key is generated.

Save your changes.
Update Category
By default, all product fields are organized into the Standard Grantmaking fields category that is created by the system. This can be changed, if needed.
Note: Only one category can be assigned to a field at a time.

Navigate to the Program Setup > Custom Forms > Form Fields tab.

Select the ellipses icon next to the field and then Edit.

In the Edit Form Field screen, select a new category from the Category field.
Note: If the category has not yet been created, select the Add new category button to create it.

Save your changes.
