Manage Widgets

Warning: If a dashboard’s Owner takes any of these actions in a shared dashboard, it will also change the dashboard for all users with which it is shared.

Note: The dashboard must be in Edit mode to perform these actions. Learn more.

  1. Navigate to the Home page.

  2. Select the tab for the dashboard to be viewed.

  3. Edit the dashboard.

  4. Select the ellipsis icon at the top of the widget and then Edit widget.

  5. Update the widget's configuration as needed.

  6. Save all changes.

Widgets can be resized to fit the desired dashboard layout. When resizing, keep in mind that surrounding widgets on the dashboard may limit its size if there is no space available.

  1. Navigate to the Home page.

  2. Select the tab for the dashboard to be viewed.

  3. Edit the dashboard.

  4. Hover over the widget until the arrow appears in the bottom-right corner of the widget.

  5. Drag the arrow up or down to make the widget smaller or larger.

    Tip: A grey box will appear behind the widget as it is being resized.

Widgets can be moved within a dashboard to achieve the desired layout.

  1. Navigate to the Home page.

  2. Select the tab for the dashboard to be viewed.

  3. Edit the dashboard.

  4. Select the widget and drag it to an available spot on the dashboard.

    Tip: A grey box will appear behind the widget as it is being resized.

Widgets can be removed from a dashboard by the Owner or any users that have Owner privileges.

  1. Navigate to the Home page.

  2. Select the tab for the dashboard to be viewed.

  3. Edit the dashboard.

  4. Select the ellipsis icon at the top of the widget and then Remove widget.

  5. Confirm the action by selecting one of the below options.

    • Remove - This will delete the widget from the system. It will no longer appear on the dashboard. It will also no longer be available in My Widgets.

    • Remove and keep as template - Remove the widget from the dashboard only. It will be kept in the system in My Widgets to be used as a template.
