Edit Standard Product Fields

Only specific details like Name, Default label, and Category can be changed when editing standard product fields. Details like Field type and Audience cannot be updated.

Warning: Any edits made to these fields will be applied to all users in your organization. To avoid overwriting these fields for others, you can create a copy of the product field instead. Keep in mind that copies are not automatically integrated into other standard product templates like dashboards and Ad Hoc reporting.

  1. Navigate to the Grant Manager Portal by going to yourcausegrants.com or your client URL. Sign in with your Blackbaud ID (BBID) or Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials.

  2. After signing in, select Program Setup in the side navigation and then Custom Forms.

  3. In Custom Forms, navigate to the Form Fields tab to view all available fields.

  4. To view all templates, either select the All form field types filter and then Standard product fields OR search by the field name.

  5. Select the ellipsis icon next to the field and then Edit.

  6. In Edit Form Field, makes changes to the field details as needed.

  7. Select Save to save your changes to the standard form field.
