Create Nominations

Note: You must have the Grant Application - Can Create or Edit Applications permission to create nominations.

Grant Managers are able to create nominations in the Grant Manager Portal on behalf of a Nominator, to record a nomination that was not initiated through GrantsConnect, etc.

  1. Create and configure the nomination.

    Note: When initially creating the nomination, you have the option to save it as a Draft to return to later or send it directly to the Nominator to complete and submit.

  2. Edit the draft nomination in the Grant Manager Portal.

  3. Complete and submit the nomination on behalf of the Nominator.

    Tip: If you do not want to complete and submit the nomination yourself, you can send it to the Nominator instead. Learn more.
