Update Attention for Cash Payments

For clients processing to a nonprofit through YourCause via check, the Attention field will be added below the nonprofit name and above the address line to direct the payment to a specific person or department when necessary. This allows you to route the payment more directly within the nonprofit's infrastructure.

Note: The status and availability of payments may impact the actions available.

  1. Navigate to the Payment Processing area.

  2. From the Cash Payments tab, click on the ellipsis icon next to the payment and select the Attention option.

  3. Enter the text in the Attention field.

  4. Click on the Save button to update the text.
