What's New - GrantsConnect Release 2.55.0

Note: This release is scheduled for August 12, 2022 with UAT updated at 5 PM ET and Production at 8 PM ET.

The latest release of GrantsConnect includes updates to modal styling and translations.

Styling for actions and buttons in modals now consistent across GrantsConnect

In previous releases, the styling used for some modals and pop-ups was modified with the goal of moving toward a more streamlined and accessible user interface (UI) design. With this release, these styling updates have been extended to all modals. This ensures consistency in modal size, available actions, and button placement across GrantsConnect.

You will notice the following changes to any modals that were not yet using this styling.

  • Modals are now wider, allowing us to better accommodate multiple actions in the footer.

  • The Cancel button is now docked on the left side of the modal.

  • The language used for actions and buttons is now more direct. For example, the Decline Application modal now has actions for Decline and Cancel instead of Yes, decline application and No, do not decline.

This is the Decline Application modal showing an example of the new modal styling introduced in GrantsConnect 2.55.0, including changes to button language.

Additional updates

  • Issues with keys (e.g., budgetName) in foreign translations have been resolved. Expert translations previously included a number of improperly formatted keys. This removed their context in the system, resulting in the key showing in the interface rather than the information it references.
