Add New Tags

  1. Navigate to the Grant Manager Portal by going to yourcausegrants.com or your client URL. Sign in with your Blackbaud ID (BBID) or Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials.

  2. After signing in, select Settings in the side navigation and then System Tags.

    Note: To access this area, you must be in a role that has the System - Can Manage Tags or System - All permission.

  3. In System Tags, select the Add tag button.

  4. In the Add Tag screen, specifying the following:

    1. Select the bucket in which to save the tag.

      Tip: The type of content to which tags will be applied is referred to as a bucket. Learn more about each type.

    2. Provide a name for the tag.

      Warning: The tag name cannot be changed after it has been created.

      Note: Tags cannot contain a backslash symbol (\).

    3. Specify the color in which the tag will be displayed.

  5. Save all changes.

Tip: Examples of tags you may find helpful are Multiple requests (Global bucket), Fraud alert (Applicants/Nominators bucket), and Community partner (Nonprofit profile bucket).
