Grants Applications - Can Access and Take Actions On All Applications
The Grant Applications - Can Access and Take Actions On All Applications permission is assigned to a user through their role in the system. The following applies to this permission:
-
The user will have access to all applications through the Applications area at any time. However, they will only see those applications in My Workspace if they are part of a specific workflow level (i.e., workflow level permissions).
-
While in the Applications area, the user will be able to take actions assigned to them as well as any outside of the normal workflow of the application. Any workflow level permissions that dictate what the user can and cannot see on the Applications page will be superseded.
-
While in the application view itself, the user will only be able to take actions if they have the proper workflow level permissions.
Any users who oversee all grant-making activity for a client should have the Grant Applications - Can Access and Take Actions On All Applications permission enabled. These users are often described as Manager, Site Admin, Grant Leaders, or CSR professionals. The title of the role may vary across organizations.
Users that have the Grant Applications - Can Access and Take Actions On All Applications permission will be granted access to the Applications area where they can view all applications. This permission does not automatically add the user to any workflow levels for these applications. In order for applications to show on My Workspace, the user must be assigned to a workflow level. This can be done by enabling workflow level permissions for each application which the user will need to track or take action on.
Although the Grant Applications - Can Access and Take Actions On All Applications permission does give a user access to view all applications in the Applications area, it does not automatically assign you to a workflow level for an application. There are several ways to determine if you are part of a workflow level.
-

-
