Blackbaud partners with Bluefin to provide a PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) solution for organizations processing payments with Blackbaud Merchant Services. The solution encrypts cardholder data at the point of interaction in a PCI-approved ID Tech SREDKey P2PE device and decrypts data off-site in an approved hardware security module. This prevents clear-text cardholder data from entering your organization’s system or network and can significantly limit your organization’s annual PCI assessment.
You can learn more about how Blackbaud Payment Services integrates with Bluefin terminals in the Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) guide.

When configuring your Blackbaud Merchant Services account, you have the option to use other payment gateways not provided by Blackbaud. The Blackbaud Merchant and Payment Services page on the Blackbaud website provides more detail on how this service works.
You can configure other payment gateways along with the rest of your organization’s payment settings in the payment settings portal, accessible from within Guided Fundraising.
