Gift designations
You can customize which giving designations appear in the Designation drop down for agents when recording donations in the Agent Portal.
To customize designations, open a Campaign and navigate to Settings. Then, select the Gift designations tab.
You can add up to 30 designations to the dropdown, and have the option to include an "Other" option so that the agents can enter a free text designation. You are not required to add any designations for your campaign.

To add a designation, from the Settings, Gift Designations tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and select + Add Designation . Enter the designation you want to add. When you type, it searches through all of the designations in your constituents' giving history and displays the matching designations in a dropdown. Select the designation(s) you want to add from the dropdown, and select Save when you are done. If you aren't able to find a designation that you want to add, ensure that the designation was included in your imported data. You can only add designations that were included in your gift file.

To remove a designation, select the X icon to the right of the designation.

Your default designation is the option that will first be selected from the dropdown by default when an agent records a donation. To change your default designation, select Default Designation and select the desired designation.

You have the option to include an Other option in the designation drop down for agents. If you include the Other option, the agent will be able to enter a free text designation after selecting that option. To include the Other option, check the box next to "Add an "Other" option, and allow Agents to enter free text when selected."
