Receipt/pledge emails
Blackbaud Guided Fundraising can automatically send email receipts and pledge emails after donations are submitted by agents. You define the styling of the emails in the Receipts/Pledges section within the Emails section.

You need to create a receipt/pledge email before it can be added to your campaign. To create a new receipt/pledge Email, navigate to Messages, Receipts/Pledges select Add. Fill out all of the required fields and select Save. Also be sure to upload the logo image you'd like to appear on your email, and set the theme colors to be used on your email. You can see a preview of your email in the Receipt View and Pledge View section of on the left.

While editing your receipt, you'll see a preview on the left side of the page. You can toggle between the Receipt View and the Pledge View in the preview. The Receipt and Pledge view are very similar. The main difference is that the Pledge view includes a donation button. You are also able to customize the subject line to have different text in the Receipt View and Pledge View. The Receipt View is what will be sent to donors following a credit card donation being processed. The Pledge View is what will be sent to donors following an online pledge being submitted.

Once you've added your receipt, you need to update your campaign settings to choose which receipt to use in each of your campaigns. You can choose to use different receipts in different campaigns if you want to have a custom subject line, colors, image, etc. for different campaigns.
