Install and Deploy a Blackbaud Data Warehouse

1. Copy the \bbappfx\MSBuild\Datamarts from the installation directory on the web server and paste it to the database server.

2. From the database server, go to the \bbappfx\MSBuild\Datamarts\bin folder, then right-click Blackbaud.AppFx.ReportDB.Installer and select Run as administrator. The deployment wizard appears.

3. On the Data Mart tab, accept the defaults and click Next.

4. On the Web Service tab, enter the web service URL and select the database. Click Next.

5. On the Application Database tab, enter the SQL Server instance name and select the database. Click Next.

6. On the OLTP Database tab, click Next.

7. On the Report Database tab, enter the name of the SQL Server instance for the data mart database.

8. On the User Account tab, from Account name, enter the name of an existing domain account or enter a new name to create a new account, then enter a password.

   If you use a local machine user account, then in the Synchronize local machine accounts on these computers box, enter the names of the database server and web server machines. Click Next.

9. On the Deploy tab, click Deploy. The data warehouse database deploys. After the installation, a confirmation message appears. Click OK.
