Edit a Conditional

You can edit the text of a conditional by typing over the existing text, or you can even add formatting, images, links, and so on to the conditional content.

Only the condition you selected will have any content (when you highlight it). The two other conditions will have no alternative content. To add alternative content for those who do not meet the terms of the condition, you have several options:

To edit a conditional by clicking on the tab:

  1. Click directly on the condition tab that contains the text you want to edit..

  2. Edit the text in the white box.

To edit a conditional with , Toggle Conditional:

  1. Click , Toggle Conditional to highlight the first conditional tab. Continue to click , Toggle Conditional until the conditional tab that you would like to edit the text for is selected.

  2. Edit the text in the white box.

To edit a conditional with , Edit Conditional:

  1. Click the condition tab that contains the text you want to edit.

  2. Click , Edit Conditional. The Edit Conditional window opens.

  3. Edit or add text as desired.

  4. Click the next conditional tab in the window.

  5. Note:

    The default value for a space is HTML source code.

  6. Repeat Steps 4 the final tab, Unknown, if content is desired for that condition.

  7. Click Save. In the WYSIWYG content editor window, you can click the tabs within the conditional to review the content that will display for each conditional.

You cannot format your content in the Edit Conditional window. You must select the tab and its content after you return to the WYSIWYG content editor.

To edit a conditional by modifying the HTML source:

  • Editing the HTML source requires a good understanding not only of HTML but also of XML, the language in which the conditionals are couched.
