Creating a New Sub-directory

Your site is configured with a main, default Directory; you can also create one that is a subset of the default directory, called a sub-directory, to refine the list of members.

When you create a sub-directory, you can:

• Associate it with a group of members to define who is listed in the directory.

• Assign it to a security group to define who has access to the directory.

• Enable the Blind Email feature that allows Constituents to keep their email addresses private but still receive email messages from registered users who access the sub-directory.

• Configure the user opt-in/opt-out options.

Note: Because you associate a sub-directory with a group of members, create the new group before creating the sub-directory associated with it.
