Insert a Progress Meter Directly on a Page
The Progress Meters Component allows you to associate a dynamic graphical progress meter with an activity being conducted on your site. You will set a goal amount and, when you place the progress meter on a page, your constituents can then see the progress you are making towards your goal for that activity.
This goal amount can be independent of the overall goal activity so you can show different types of progress. For example, you can have a 4-month fundraising campaign with an overall goal of $200,000, but you can set up this progress meter to show progress towards your monthly goal of $50,000.
You can place a progress meter directly in an HTML content area on a page to show the:
Amount of money raised for an online donation campaign if you have an online fundraising campaign with at least one donation form published
Number of registrations for a TeamRaiser event if the TeamRaiser application is installed with at least one event published
Number of times an action alert has been taken if the Advocacy application is installed with at least one action alert published
You can choose from several different graphical representations of Progress Meters, such as a cyclist, a runner, or a ship advancing toward a goal or choose a more traditional thermometer. You can also create your own.
