Register an Event Attendee for a Multi-Part Event

You can manually register an event attendee and purchase tickets or RSVP to child events within the Multi-Part event.

To avoid creating duplicate constituents, you can search to be sure the person is not already a constituent. If you do not locate the constituent record, you can create a new constituent.

To register an event attendee

  1. From the:

    • Calendar, click the event and then click Manage from the Event Details pop-up displayed. The Find Event Attendees page displays.

    • Or, Event List, click Manage from the Actions column of the event. The Find Event Attendees page displays.

  2. Click Add Event Attendee. The Attendee Selection page displays.

  3. To be sure you don't create a duplicate constituent record, click the Search for Existing Constituent radio button. The Constituent Search fields display.

  4. Enter as much information as you have in the fields and click the Search button. All existing constituent records that match are displayed in the Search Results list.

  5. If the Search Results:

    • List the appropriate constituent, click Select from the Actions column of the appropriate constituent. The Set Event Information page displays.

    • Contain no results or does not list the correct constituent:

      1. Click the Create a New Attendee radio button. The Attendee Personal Information fields display on the page.

      2. Enter at least the First Name and Last Name of the attendee and as much of the other information that is known, and then click Create. The Set Event Information page displays.

  1. In the Quantity field of the Ticket area, enter the enter 1 (or, the appropriate amount as indicated by the attendee).

    Note: If the Guest List link has been enabled, the Show other event attendees this name checkbox will a checkmark by default. If this attendee has indicated that they do not want their name shown on the Guest List, click the checkbox to remove the checkmark.

  2. If the Additional Gift field displays, optionally enter the monetary amount that the attendee has indicated.

  3. If there are questions listed, either select or fill in answers as appropriate.

  4. For Reminder, optionally change the selection in the drop-down list from 1 day to the appropriate number.

  5. For Payment Method, if the attendee has paid:

    • In cash, leave the Cash radio button selected.

    • By check, click the Check radio button and then enter the number of the check in the Check Number field that displays.

    • With a credit card:

      1. Click the Credit Card radio button. The Credit Card Information fields display.

      2. Click into the Credit Card Number field and enter the card number. You can enter spaces or simply type all of the numbers and letters.

      3. Optionally, click into the CVV Number field and enter the appropriate card verification number.

      4. If displayed (for Switch/Solo cards), click into the Issue Number field and enter the appropriate information.

      5. Click the Expiration Date drop-down lists and click the appropriate month and year when the card expires.

  1. Click the Finish button. The Find Event Attendees page displays again.
