To edit the advocacy options for a center

  1. Click Constituent360 on the navigation menu and select Centers from the drop-down menu. The Center List page displays.

  2. Click the Name of the appropriate center to open the Center Details page.

  3. Click Edit Advocacy Options in the Center Actions pane at the right of the page. The Edit Advocacy Options page for that center displays.

  4. Make decisions about the following:

    1. Center-Level Advocacy Default Organization Name -- check the box if you wish to override the default site-level organization name with a default center name when submitting center webforms to the White House; if you check the box, enter the default center name to use

    2. Center-Level Advocacy Default Organization Email --check the box if you wish to override the default site-level contact email address with a default center email address when submitting center webforms to the White House; if you check the box, enter the default email address to use

    3. Advocacy Syndication for Action Alerts -- decide between the following options:

      • Disabled -- this center will not participate in alert syndication

      • Receive -- this center will be able to receive alerts syndicated by others, but will not be able to syndicate (send) alerts to other centers

      • Send -- this center will be able to syndicate alerts to others, but will not be able to receive alerts from other centers (or the site)

      • Both -- this center will be able to send and receive syndicated alerts

    4. Advocacy Select Targets Page -- enable or disable blanket targets on the Select Targets page for Action and Call Alerts

    5. Advocacy Manage/Add Targets Page --enable or disable standard folders on the Manage Targets page for Target Lists, Action and Call Alerts

    6. Targets within Federal Folders -- limit access to US Senators and Representatives, by unchecking the box (that allows access to all) and then specifying the states you do want to allow

    7. Targets within State Folders -- limit access to State Senators, Representatives, and Executives, by unchecking the box (that allows access to all) and then specifying the states you do want to allow

  1. Click Finish to save your changes and return to the Center Details page.
