Access Page Wrapper Editor

Create a new Page Wrapper

You can create a new page wrapper and walk through the process to define and specify attributes and content. You can also duplicate an existing page wrapper and edit the attributes (Name and Security Category information) or the appropriate version to modify or add content in the HEAD, BODY, HTML, or Printable Version. Duplicating copies over all versions to the new page wrapper, but will not make any version Active until you publish one.

  1. From the Setup menu, click Page Wrapper Editor.

  2. Above the Page Wrapper List, click Create a new Page Wrapper.

  3. Enter information for the following:

    1. for Enter a name for the Page Wrapper, enter a descriptive label that will help other administrators identify the purpose of this page wrapper from the list of page wrappers.

    2. for Enter a name for this version of the Page Wrapper, enter a descriptive label to identify how to use this version of the page wrapper if multiple versions exist (for example, ReleaseWithV10).

    3. for Select a security category for this Page Wrapper, click the appropriate option to determine who can view a site page associated with this page wrapper. Remember that you can have multiple active page wrappers in the same Security Category.

Note: This makes the wrapper available for use with pages in that security category. If you associate the wrapper a Security Category other than General, you must edit the wrapper (after configuration) to specifically designate it as the default wrapper for this Security Category.

Also, if you associate the wrapper with General, pages in any Security Category can use the default wrapper designated for the General category (or, standard wrapper if no default has been selected for the General category.)

As an alternative, you can go to Site Setup > Security Categories and edit the Security Category to choose this as the default wrapper for use with pages in the category.

  4. Click Next.
