Understanding Template Content Block Attributes

After selecting the Block Layout, you can work with the elements included by default within the block to modify text or images and override the style defined for the element in the template stylesheet.

You can select to remove a specific element by clicking its Include checkbox.

For text elements you want to keep included, you can:

• Enter suggested message text in the Text Properties field to guide the message authors

• Change the style of the text element (like from an H3 to an H2)

For image elements you want to keep included, you can:

• Select the image from the library or upload it to the library

• Enter special instructions about:

  • Using the image provided or replacing it with a new one

  • Specifying the Alt text to display to recipients who use assistive technologies

  • The link destination and purpose

You can lock the block so that no edits can be made to your entries.
