User Management
MobilePay Terminal uses Blackbaud ID authentication. To control who can add, view, and refund transactions in MobilePay Terminal, admins can create and assign roles from the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal.
Note: Environment and solution admins automatically have MobilePay Terminal permissions.

A role combines tasks and permissions to determine a user's level of access to a feature area in a Blackbaud solution.

From the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal, under Control panel, select Security, Roles.

Under MobilePay terminal roles, select Add
.

Enter the role's name and description.
Tip: Use clear and concise info so all admins can easily identify the role's purpose when managing users.

Choose the permissions to allow.
If the role should provide full access, select the Manage transactions task. Otherwise, select Show permissions to grant only certain permissions. For more information, see Roles.

Select Save.

From the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal, under Control panel, select Security.

From the list of users, select the user, then select Manage roles.
Tip: To add a new user to your Blackbaud Merchant Services account, select Add user.

Under Merchant Services, select MobilePay Terminal and choose a role.

Select Save.
