Donate to Nonprofits Using Giving Checkout

YourCause from Blackbaud has partnered with JustGiving to introduce Giving Checkout , a quick and easy way for organizations to receive online donations. This feature is powered by the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF) and ensures that 100% of every donation goes directly to the organization.

How do I access Giving Checkout?

Supporters can donate to a nonprofit from the organization's public profile in NPOconnect. You can find their profile by searching for them at nonprofit.yourcause.com, using the Search our nonprofit database search bar at the top of the page. No login is required.

You can also navigate to their profile using the nonprofit's custom URL shown below. Note that {NonprofitID} should be replaced with the organization's Nonprofit ID as provided by NPOconnect.

Once there, select the Donate with JustGiving button to open the nonprofit's profile in JustGiving. You can make a one-off donation or set up a recurring donation from this page.

These brands seek to help nonprofits grow revenue in various ways to drive their missions forward. NPOconnect is a free portal that nonprofits can use to create a charity profile. Creating a profile will make it easier for these nonprofits to receive and manage donations and volunteer opportunities from companies (and their millions of employees) that leverage YourCause solution. JustGiving, alternatively, provides fundraising tools, like Giving Checkout, to help nonprofits grow online donations. Together these tools can help a nonprofit organization drive more support from individual supporters.

 

Today, JustGiving from Blackbaud leverages a legacy JustGiving portal that takes a user to the tools of JustGiving, including Giving Checkout. We envision a future of single sign-on (SSO) where logging into NPOconnect and JustGiving will leverage the same user credentials and give you access to both sets of tools.

 

For organizations who have already onboarded with NPOconnect and provided ACH details for direct deposit of donations from the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF), we have passed this ACH information over to the JustGiving system as well. Therefore you should not have to enter any information into JustGiving, but rather, verify that the information is correct. There are instances where changes or new additions on the NPOconnect side are delayed in being updated on the JustGiving side.  In those cases, you may be prompted to add your ACH information within the JustGiving portal.

 

Today, JustGiving from Blackbaud leverages a legacy JustGiving portal that takes a user to the tools of JustGiving, including Giving Checkout and the marketing setup for Giving Checkout. Because these systems are separate, it could require logging into JustGiving to make the marketing and logo updates.
