Downloading Donations
From the Donation Dashboard, you can download Online Express donation transactions into The Raiser's Edge and link them to constituent records. The process involves linking the donor to a constituent record in The Raiser's Edge and then processing the transaction. You can download transactions in bulk, or individually.
Tip: Although you can process high volumes of transactions in bulk, we recommend that you process transactions individually to ensure that all members are properly linked to constituent records.

From the Donations Dashboard, click Download Transactions to open the transaction manager.
On the left side of the transaction manager, pending donations appear. When you select a transaction in the list, additional details appear on the right side of the transaction manager.

Click on a pending transaction, additional details appear on the right side of the transaction manager. The Record Linking tab displays information about constituent and fund linking.
Tip: On the Details tab, you can view additional information about the transaction, such as the source URL and web form.

On the Record Linking tab, click Find Constituent.
The Web Form Transaction window displays the registrant's profile information on the Biographical and Preferred Address tabs.

On both tabs, in the Search Field column, select the fields you want to use to search for a possible match and click Find Now.
Tip: To clear all search fields, click Clear Search Criteria.

If a match is found, compare the address and email to make sure they are the same. If the address and email are an exact match, click Link Constituent > Choose Selected Constituent.
If there is a discrepancy between the fields on the Biographical and Preferred Address tabs and the donor listed at the bottom of the screen, do the following to make sure it is a match and link the records:

Click the name at the bottom of the screen in the Link Online Donation to a Constituent section and click Open Constituent.

If the record appears to be a match, click Save & Close to return to the previous window. Click Link Constituent > Choose Selected Constituent. The next screen lists the discrepancies between the two records.

Select an item in the Accept column to use the new information, or clear the checkmark to keep the value in The Raiser's Edge.

At the bottom of the screen, select whether to update the record with the new, downloaded information, or add it to the record as an additional address for the constituent.

Click Save and Close to return to the Record Linking tab.
Note: If no match is found, see Download an individual transaction for a new constituent.

Click Process Transaction.
When the process completes, a donation batch is created in The Raiser's Edge. After transactions process, they no longer appear in the transaction manager.

If no results are returned, click Link Constituent > Create New Constituent. This will create a new constituent record and automatically link it to the online donor.

Click Process Transaction.
When the process completes, a donation batch is created in The Raiser's Edge. You can open the batch from Online Express or from Batch to commit the gift. After transactions process, they no longer appear in the transaction manager.

Note: We recommend you process registrations individually so that you can link them to a constituent record in The Raiser's Edge.

From the Donations Dashboard, click Download Transactions to open the transaction manager.

Click Select All in the lower left-hand corner of the window.

Click Bulk Processing. The Processing window opens.

Click Process Now.

From the Donations Dashboard, click Download Transactions to open the transaction manager.

Select a transaction and click Delete Transaction in the left-hand side of the window.
