Email Marketing - Design Email Tab
The Design email editor allows you to add and style your message text, images, and links.
You can also include merge fields to personalize your message. Merge fields populate messages with recipients’ information from their Raiser’s Edge constituent records.

Drag a text or text and image icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Content Editor opens.

Edit your text and use the toolbar to change fonts, alignment, add links and so on.

Click Apply.

Hover over a section and click the Click to edit button. The Content Editor displays.

Enter your text and use the toolbar to change fonts, alignment, add links and so on.

Click Apply.

Hover over a section and click the Click to edit button. The Content Editor displays.

from the Merge Fields drop-down menu, select a field such as first name or address.

Click Apply.

Drag an image or text and image icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Edit Content window opens.

Click Choose an existing image. The Image Gallery opens.

Highlight an image and click Close.

For the Image display width options, set the image display width in pixels or select Best fit to have the image fill the width of its content area.

In the Image alt-text field, enter alt-text to display when users choose not to show images in their emails. This is often the case, so we encourage you to enter brief but descriptive alt-text for your images

If the image should also serve as a clickable link, click Add link to select a destination web page, form, or email address.

Click Apply.

Click Upload new image. A browser window opens.

Locate the image on your desktop and click Open.

Hover over an image and click the Click to edit button. The Edit content window displays.

Edit the image as needed and click Apply.

Drag the Donation icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Edit Donate Button window opens.

Select a donation form to link the button to from the drop-down menu.

Edit the button text if needed.

Style the button with the options on the right.

Click Apply.

Drag the Event icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Edit Register Button window opens.

Select an event registration form to link the button to from the drop-down menu.

Edit the button text if needed.

Style the button with the options on the right.

Click Apply.

Drag the Membership icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Edit Membership Button window opens.

Select an event registration form to link the button to from the drop-down menu.

Edit the button text if needed.

Style the button with the options on the right.

Click Apply.

Drag the Social icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Edit Social Media Links window opens.

Select the social media links you want to include and enter the URL and link text.

Select the Large or Mini display option for the links

Click Apply.

Drag the Divider Line icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right. The Edit Divider Line window opens.

Select the style, color and thickness and click Apply.

Click the Style tab.

Click Save when you are done.

Click the Layout tab.

Drag a column icon from the left side of the editor to the body of the email on the right.

Click the X in a column on the right side to delete.

Click Save when you are done.
