Add Account Configurations
For each Blackbaud Merchant Services account, you can create multiple account configurations. These configurations determine:
-
Which credit card types you accept
-
Whether transactions process in Live, Test, or Demo mode
-
The level of fraud protection using Card Security Code (CSC) and Address Verification Service (AVS)
For example, you might set up separate configurations for different card types, fraud protection levels, or to keep live and test transactions separate.
Add and manage account configurations in the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal under Settings.
Tip: Account configurations may appear as merchant accounts in your Blackbaud solutions.
Note: Forms and solutions using Blackbaud's new checkout experience — such as Blackbaud Donation Forms and Luminate Online — apply industry best practice settings for AVS levels, CSC levels, and supported card types.
