Constituent Statuses
On a constituent's record, you can select Mark as and choose their status — such as whether they're a fundraiser or anonymous donor — as necessary.

To enable someone to manage relationships with constituents or related actions or opportunities and view their assignments in Work Center, they must be a fundraiser. To make someone a fundraiser, select Mark as, Fundraiser on their constituent record. For more information, see Fundraisers.

To help prioritize fundraising efforts and avoid awkward interactions, you can mark a constituent as deceased when they pass away. To mark a constituent as deceased, select Mark as, Deceased. When you mark a constituent as deceased, you can also save a date your organization tracks for these constituents, such as when they passed away. For more information, see Deceased Individuals.

To limit the use of a disengaged constituent but retain their history with your organization for later reference, you can mark them as inactive. To mark a constituent as inactive, select Mark as, Inactive on their record. For more information, see Inactive Constituents.

To respect a donor's request for anonymity, you can indicate whether they give anonymously. To mark a donor as anonymous, select Mark as, Gives anonymously on their constituent record. For more information, see Anonymous Giving.

To respect a constituent's request to be excluded from all email communication, you can indicate whether they wish to receive email. To suppress a constituent from all messages you send through Email
