Analyze action category and type
To track the channel used for an interaction, such as Email or Phone call, and the intent of an action by assigning a category.
Actions by category
Compare the number of actions in each category under Actions by category. Use this information to identify which channels fundraisers prefer and why they use actions. For details about categories, see Action categories and types.
Tip: Cultivate relationships and emotional connections with constituents through highly personal interactions, such as phone calls and face-to-face meetings. For more information, see High-value actions analysis.
Actions by type
Compare the number of actions in each type under Actions by type. Use this information to identify which types of actions fundraisers use most.
If a type isn't used, consider promoting its use for future actions or removing it as an option. Manage the available types in the database view. For more information, see Action categories and Types.
Tip: To view a list of actions included in the metrics, select the bar in the chart. For further analysis, select Create list to open the list, where you can apply filters, choose columns, and save for future use. For more information, see Lists.
