Reporting Rights

In Analysis, Fundraising dashboards users have a pulse-check of how well your organization acquires donors and gifts, completes actions and opportunities, raises money toward campaigns and funds, and much more. In Security, admins can view and choose whether a fundraising role can access Reporting — and if so, which dashboards.

Set a Fundraising Role's Access to Analysis

  1. From Security, select Role management.

  2. Under Fundraising roles, select Edit role from the role's menu.

  3. Choose which tabs the role can access.

    • For all tabs except Opportunities, select Access all analyze tabs under Analyze tasks.

    • For specific tabs, select Show permissions under Analyze tasks, and select View for the tabs the role should access.

    • For the Opportunities tab (available with Prospect Research Management), select Show permissions under Opportunities tasks, and select Analyze opportunities.

  4. Select Save.

Tip: Be patient. It may take up to five minutes for security changes to take effect.

Note: For information about how to set a role's access to Analysis, Report builder, see Report Builder Rights.

Tip: Admins! In the database view, you can set record-level security — such as by fund or constituent code — to further limit which information the group's members can access. For more information, see Record Security.
