Cultivation Assistant is a grouping of functionality in Raiser’s Edge NXT that helps fundraisers move from identifying prospects to taking meaningful cultivation action more efficiently.

It combines predictive insights and AI‑assisted recommendations to support common major gift tasks, such as creating opportunities and planning next steps. Cultivation Assistant is embedded into existing opportunity and prospect workflows rather than delivered as a standalone feature in the user interface.

Cultivation Assistant groups functionality that helps you:

• Create opportunities more efficiently - Open new opportunities informed by available donor insights, with key details pre‑populated to save time.

• Plan cultivation next steps - Generate a recommended cultivation or action plan that you can review, adjust, and approve before saving.

• Prepare for donor outreach - Use AI‑generated summaries and recommendations that highlight recent giving, engagement, and other meaningful moments in a donor’s journey.

• Decide how to proceed - Review guidance that helps you determine whether to move forward, pause, or adjust your outreach
