Campaign Record Analysis Tab

The Analysis tab gives you a visual view of campaign performance, helping you quickly spot trends, understand donor behavior, and track revenue movement over time. Instead of scanning rows of data, you can use charts to see patterns, compare segments, and make informed decisions based on how the campaign is actually performing.

Use this tab when you want to move from “What happened?” to “Why is it happening?” and “What should we do next?”

What You’ll Find on the Analysis Tab

The Analysis tab brings together key visual insights in one place:

Filters

At the top of the page, the filters let you control what data you’re looking at across the dashboard.

As you change filters, the tiles update instantly so you can easily compare performance across time periods or revenue types without leaving the page.

What Each Analysis Tile Shows

If Include tax claim amount in giving totals is selected in Settings, Control panel, Giving analysis, Gift Aid, dashboard totals on campaigns, funds, and appeals records Analysis include Tax claim amount. In Gift lists, Amount (total gift amount) excludes Tax claim amount as it displays in a separate column.

Giving by Constituent Code

This tile shows how campaign giving is distributed across constituent code groups.

Use it to:

Gifts by Gift Amount

This tile groups gifts into amount ranges to show how giving is distributed by size.

Use it to:

It’s especially useful for shaping pipeline and donor growth planning.

Donors by Cumulative Giving

This tile segments donors by their total giving contribution.

Use it to:

This view focuses on donor quality and engagement, not just gift count, making it valuable for stewardship and retention planning.

Gifts by Gift Type

This tile shows how gifts are distributed across gift types, such as cash, pledges, or other configured classifications.

Use it to:

This chart is especially helpful for understanding how much revenue is immediate versus future‑oriented.

Received &Amp; Projected Revenue by Month

This tile compares received and projected revenue month by month.

Use it to:

It’s ideal for answering, “Where are we underperforming (or overperforming) right now?”

Cumulative Received &Amp; Projected Revenue

This tile shows the running total of received and projected revenue over time.

Use it to:

This chart is often the headline view, with other tiles helping explain why it looks the way it does.
