Campaign Record Gifts Tab

The Gifts tab gives you a clear, list‑based view of all gift activity tied to a specific campaign. Instead of navigating to the main Gifts list and re‑filtering, you can review, analyze, and share campaign‑specific gift data right from the campaign record.

Use this tab when you need to quickly answer questions like:

  • Which gifts are contributing to this campaign?

  • Who gave, how much, and when?

  • Are there any gifts missing or misattributed?

The Gifts tab gives you fast, reliable access to campaign‑specific gift data using a familiar list experience. By keeping the campaign filter locked and supporting powerful list tools, it helps you review, analyze, export, and share gift activity — without extra navigation or setup.

What the Gifts Tab Shows

This tab displays a gifts list scoped to the campaign you’re currently viewing. The campaign filter is applied automatically so you’re always looking at the correct data.

You’ll see the same familiar columns available in the standard Gifts list, including:

  • Constituent

  • Gift amount

  • Gift date

  • Gift type

  • Fund

  • Appeal

  • Related records (where applicable)

Because this view uses the existing Gifts list experience, it supports the same filtering, sorting, and customization options you already know.

What You Can Do with the Gifts List

The Gifts tab is designed for quick review and analysis, not just viewing data.

Use it to:

  • Sort and filter gifts to focus on specific transactions

  • Show or hide columns based on what you’re reviewing

  • Export the visible list for reporting or sharing

  • Save your preferences for future use

Your saved preferences are stored separately for:

  • Campaign gifts views

  • Appeal gifts views

That way, each context can be optimized for how you work.

When to Use the Gifts Tab

The Gifts tab is especially useful when you need to:

  • Review campaign fundraising activity without leaving the record

  • Troubleshoot gift attribution issues

  • Prepare exports focused on a single campaign

  • Validate totals you’re seeing on the Overview tab

It complements the Overview tab by letting you move from high-level performance to transaction-level detail in one click.

If Something Goes Wrong

If the Gifts list can’t load, the tab displays an error state instead of partial or incomplete data.

If this happens:

  • Refresh the page first

  • If the issue continues, wait a few minutes and try again. If it persists, contact Blackbaud Support.
