Campaign Record Overview
The Overview tab on the campaign record gives you a clear, high‑level snapshot of how a campaign is performing without having to dig into detailed reports. It brings together key metrics, trends, and campaign details in one place so you can quickly answer questions like:
-
How much have we raised so far?
-
Are we on track to hit our goal?
-
When are gifts and donors coming in?
-
What’s the overall health of this campaign?
All tiles on the Overview tab are interactive and designed to help you monitor campaign effectiveness at a glance.
Filters
At the top of the page, filters let you control which gifts are included in the dashboard metrics.
By default, metrics include all cash-in-hand giving received through the fundraising effort. Use filters to focus your analysis.
Use the Gift date filter to focus your analysis on a specific time period, such as this fiscal year (default), last fiscal year, this calendar year, or last calendar year.
Use the Revenue type filter to choose whether to include only received revenue from cash-in-hand giving or to also include committed revenue from pledges and matching gifts. By default, results show Received revenue.
As you change filters, the dashboard tiles update instantly so you can easily compare performance across time periods or revenue types without leaving the page.
Tip: Filters are cumulative. For example, selecting both a revenue type and a date range shows only gifts of that type and within the selected time period.
