Campaign Summary
Campaigns are the overall fundraising efforts or initiatives, such as operating expenses, a new building, or an endowment. To quickly analyze the effectiveness of a campaign, view the pertinent statistics about its giving over the past five years under Campaign summary on its record.
Tip: With the Revenue type filter, you can choose whether to analyze revenue received through cash-in-hand giving or committed through pledges and matching gifts. For more information, see Revenue and Recognition.

Under Campaign summary, you can quickly track the money raised toward the initiative.
-
Revenue — How much the campaign raised.
-
Gifts — How many gifts the campaign raised.
Tip: To view a list of gifts toward the campaign, select either total. For further analysis, select Create list to open the list, where you can apply additional filters, choose columns, and save for future reuse. For more information, see Lists.

To help identify the typical gift amount applied toward the campaign, Average gift divides the total amount by the number of gifts.

To help determine whether the campaign attracts mostly larger or smaller gifts, Median gift provides the middle gift amount. Half of the gifts received are above this amount, and half are below.
